Ever wondered about what it's like to be a voice actor for cartoons or video games? Do you love imitating voices or acting? Want to learn how to come up with new character voices on the fly? Want to see what a home studio can look like or just get a better understanding of the voice acting industry in general? Your teen will LOVE this fun, very interactive, fast-paced workshop with voice actor, singer and comedian Rosemary Watson. Kids can come once and get a ton out of it, or come back each week for more learning. This workshop will focus on character voices used in animation and video games and is great, too, for young actors who want to work in TV/Film or theater. Your teen will be asked to participate and take part in many different exercises/scripts reading etc.... They will get to record behind the mic and will get a basic understanding of sound editing. Rosemary's voiceover work has been recognized internationally. An industry pro with credits ranging from The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, to appearing at The Kennedy Center to voicing puppets for Robert Smigel (SNL/Conan) Rosemary (a mom to a teen) will teach how to read copy for animation and videogames. Rosemary was asked to participate on the Cartoon Voices panel at ComiCon in 2022. Her fanbase on TikTok is ever-expanding with over 123k followers.
